As Founder and CEO of LeaseRunner, Joe Buczkowski has spent over two decades at the intersection of real estate law and property management — first as an in-house attorney and asset manager, then as the builder of a nationwide rental platform serving independent landlords across the U.S. Armed with a JD/MBA from the University of Colorado, Joe founded LeaseRunner in 2011 to replace the industry’s anecdotal screening models with smarter, data-driven tools built around real affordability. Today, he directly oversees LeaseRunner’s compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, NACHA, and residential real estate statutes — ensuring every lease, form, and landlord tool on the platform holds up legally.
